Anthony McCormack

Marketing

Never one to sit around and wait for things to happen, Ant picked up his first full-time marketing job while he was still at uni, cutting his teeth marketing Brisbane’s independent arts icon, Metro Arts.

After five years in the not-for-profit arts sector and having a marketing budget that was based around favours and begging, Ant joined the marketing team of national bike retailer, Goldcross Cycles. While gaining invaluable experience at one of Australia’s largest retailers at Super Retail Group he could also now indulge his passion for riding bikes in lycra without fear of derision from the skinny jeans arts set. Although his Supercheap Auto stablemates were not so forgiving.

Now at Taxi, Ant’s combining his background in the arts industry and big retail marketing skills and putting them to good use for us. He loves having a chat and is working hard to keep Taxi up to speed with the rapidly changing advertising environment, molding Taxi into an internationally significant transmedia production house. Sadly, once again Ant can no longer wear lycra while riding his bike without copping grief from his co-workers…
